Liberty single lesson

This tune is a good one for practicing clean string crossings, and a nice example of taking a motive and moving it to a new chord. A motive is a musical idea. You can hear the first phrase is moved up to use the same idea over a new chord for the second phrase; a great compositional tool. This is another tune with the classic form you’ve learned with Arkansas Traveler and Soldier’s Joy.
